Lappia Blue from Hirvensalmi
The Lappia Blue stone of Hirvensalmi is quarried in northern Savo in the naturally beautiful region of Puulavesi. Quarry operations began in 1994. The average production level for the year 2000 was approximately 500 - 600 m3. Production is stopped.
