PG Black from Varpaisjärvi

Varpaisjärvi is located approximately 50 km north of Kuopio. At this site, we quarry black diabase bearing the trade name PG Black. Palin Granit Oy began operations at Varpaisjärvi in 1996.
Year 2001 company established a processing plant by the quarry, producing approximately 2500m2 slabs for monument use.
